's Board of Directors

The Midcoast Recreation Center Board of Directors is a group of volunteers responsible for managing the activities of the organization consistent with the purposes, objectives, philosophy, and limitations set forth in the articles of incorporation, bylaws and mission. To achieve the preceding, the board's key responsibilities are developing and executing strategic plans, selecting and managing executive leadership, and providing fiscal stewardship to meet short and long term financial obligations.

 

The MRC Board of Directors meets monthly and each member additionally participates on one or more board committees. Board members offer their time, professional, and personal skills in support of the organization’s needs. Board members are expected to make decisions based on the responsibilities of the board and meeting MRC's overall needs rather than personal and/or familial preferences.
