Barrett Brown is currently the owner and president of CedarWorks located in Rockport, Maine. Barrett received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and worked in management consulting in Albany, Cleveland and Boston before moving to Rockport in 1997 to join the family business. Barrett became a member of the MRC board in 2011 and has been president of the board since 2012. In addition to the MRC board, Barrett has served on the boards of the Penobscot Bay YMCA, Farnsworth Art Museum, and Pen Bay Medical Center. Barrett is the proud father of four children who have participated in many MRC programs over the years. In his free time he enjoys skiing, hockey, coaching baseball and hiking.
